Mount Nemrut Royal Burial Sanctuary of the Antichocus I Designed to make him and his family look like Gods A Huge Mound of Stones with two shrines on the East and West side Shrines had 8 statues of Gods, Fearsome animals, and the King Gods are a combination of Greek and Persian Gods The people of the kingdom were both Greek and Persian, so the king combined the gods 45 ft. tall Destroyed after the king’s death b/c non one believed he was a god
