What: The introduction of the horse will bring a great change to the Native American life. How: The horse made the Native Americans more mobile compared to their nomadic lifestyle pre-Columbian. What: The introduction of disease will bring a dramatic shift in the population of Native Americans. How: The Spanish will unknowingly bring germ warfare to the Native Americans by introducing small pox through physical contact. Why: The Spanish had lived through and became immune to small pox by the 1500s, but since the Native Americans had no resistance or contact with smallpox it will be responsible for the death of millions of Native Americans.
