2008 Nissan Xterra Fog Install Disconnecting the battery is suggested. You’ll have to reset the VDC if you do. (Driving straight in reverse for a short distance should fix that.)

This is all you’ll need !!!

Steering Stalk Replacement Three screws hold the upper and lower steering covers

Steering Stalk Replacement The Upper and Lower Covers are snapped together with a few tabs. “Squeezing” the covers at the joint will free them. You will need to pull the steering height adjusting handle to free the lower cover. The Stalk is held in place by two lock tabs. Grab the Upper and Lower tabs and pull out along the direction shown. Replace the new Stalk and reassemble the Steering Column covers.

Mounting the Fog Light Gently pull out the front of the Inner Fender. 4 Screws needs to be removed from the Inner Fender. The fifth screw can be removed too for easier acces. Gently pull out the front of the Inner Fender. Push the OEM Fog Cover out

Mounting the Fog Light Here’s a view of the mount location, taken from the front of the vehicle. Note the J-Clip location and orientation. The Bumper Clip goes on the Outboard side. Shown here on the fog, you can install it to the bumper first. Make sure the connector points down.

Mounting the Fog Light Here’s a view of the installed Fog. The screw is pretty hard to reach. Have fun with it! Plug the Harness to the Fog, replace the Inner Fender and repeat on the other side.
