New/Early Career Faculty Faculty Annual Review (FAR) Workshop December 2nd, 2016 1:00 – 2:30 pm; SAGE 222 Target Audience: New/Early Career Faculty What is the Faculty Annual Review? How FAR do I have to go when preparing one? How important is the self-reflection narrative? This workshop will help you to prepare this very important component of merit pay and tenure and promotion decisions.

What is the role of the faculty annual review? You’re building an evidence trail. Evidence supports your claims in your narratives, in your FAR reports, and in your portfolios! Indicate how you have/will address feedback through faculty development activities in 2-yr, 4-yr, tenure, promotion narratives.
