Get ready for the MMS 2nd Annual The Poetry Slam! Write an original poem, any style, to share. Turn in a copy to your librarian in the Library and sign up to enter the poetry contest by Tuesday, April 6th. Memorize your poem for the Poetry Slam! Prizes will be awarded to the winning poets! April is National Poetry Month! MMS 2nd Annual Let’s celebrate YOUR original poetry! When: Tuesday, April 11th Time: 5:00-7:00pm Where: Montwood MS Cafeteria Cookies and punch will be served. Yum! What is a Poetry Slam? A poetry slam is a gathering of poets who share their original poems. It can also be a competition. Sign up with your ELAR teacher or Librarian today!
