ELIS - Educator Licensure System Create an account www.isbe.net, click TEACHERS then Log in to ELIS button Tied to your SS# You’ll probably only see your testing results at first - no credentials yet Remember your username and password DO NOT create multiple accounts

Entitlement - You Complete Your EC Program EC will let ISBE know You’ll get a notification when you log in to your ELIS account DO NOT apply for your license UNTIL your account shows you have a PEL pending It should pop up on your Home Page when you log in PEL = Professional Educator License Once the notification is there… Apply ($100). It will be immediate that you receive your license (careful how you answer questions though) Register it ($60 = remaining year + 5 full) Which ROE do you register in? ROE #53 since you’re in it now Add any region you will work or sub

edTPA General Time Frame: 6-8 weeks Scoring: About 1 month after submission to Pearson ISBE and you are both notified Results Posted to your ELIS account: 2-3 weeks to get posted to your ELIS account once you get notice Apply for License: Once you see the notification on your ELIS Home Page Your Credentials page will change from Pending or Pre-completion to Completed
