Data Pipeline Town Hall March 5th, 2015 The goal of the webinar is to provide updates on the Data Pipeline and current and upcoming collections. These webinars also provide a forum for districts, BOCES, and Administrative Units to have questions answered about Data Pipeline. Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) 12

Important information about CRDC Launch Date The new 2013-14 CRDC system will launch end of March 2015. Close date will be announced within the week. The official due date will be set no earlier than 75 days after the official launch. Approximately two weeks prior to the official launch of the CRDC system, your superintendent will receive a letter with the official due date. PCPs and ACPs will receive e-mail of the same. Colorado will produce a calendar with pertinent CRDC dates and information.

Reporting Incident Example 3: Unduplicated Count Focus Provide an unduplicated count of students involved reported incidents. Regardless of how many times a student is counted for any category within the Discipline by Student Demographics file, only count the student once in the unduplicated count of students disciplined. Habitually Truant Definition A child between 6 and 17 years of age having four unexcused absences from public school in any one month or ten unexcused absences from public school during any school year. Absences due to suspension expulsions is considered excused absences.

Habitually Truant Counts 3 fields capture this required data: Truancy: Four or more days in any one calendar month Truancy: Ten or more days in one school year Truancy: Met both conditions Students are to be reported in only 1 category per school as applicable
