AIM: to be able to compare mixed numbers

There are two ways to compare mixed numbers. Compare the whole numbers and then compare the fractions Turn the mixed number into an improper fraction and then compare them.

Method #1 2 2 2 3 5 7 14 15 1. Check if the whole number is the same. If they are not the same then which ever number is larger will be the larger mixed number because the fraction is less than 1. 2. If the whole number is the same compare the fractions and whichever fraction is larger will be the larger mixed number.
