Who is this teacher?

How am I graded? PRE-AP: 50% Daily Grades 50% Test Grades MATH PLUS: 60% Daily Grades 40% Test Grades

Class guidelines 1. BE RESPONSIBLE: Have all materials ready, including homework, before the tardy bell. 2. BE ON TIME, ON TASK: Be in seat and begin working when bell rings. Complete work in a timely fashion and avoid unnecessary talking. 3. ALWAYS FOLLOW DIRECTIONS: Raise your hand and wait to be called on before speaking or moving out of your seat. 4. RESPECT: Be respectful of everyone; keep hands, feet, objects and inappropriate comments to yourself. Be in assigned seat with supplies when bell rings

If you finish your work early… Students Can: Work on overarching question in binder Makeup late assignments Work on tonight’s homework

Excused absence Go to the “While You Were Out” Wall Copy the homework and retrieve any handouts

Turning in papers Pass your papers to the right and continue passing all papers to the right Then I will come around and collect all papers

Classroom discussions Please participate Make all questions and comments relevant to the current discussion If your question is off topic , write it down and ask the question later

Bathroom breaks Raise your hand and wait for me to acknowledge you

Moving around the room You must ask for permission Do not ask during class discussion unless it is an emergency

Class dismissal The teacher dismisses you, not the bell Do not start packing up prior to the bell Wait until the teacher dismisses you with “Have a nice day!”
