Proposal to the Blanco 4m cooling capacity Replace the 10 TON REF FCS unit by a 40 or 50 TON REF unit (depending on the pipe diameter to be used to reduce glycol pressure drop and high travel velocity in the glycol system Replace the 2” Dia. Pipe of current 10 TON REF circuit to allow larger cooling capacity unit (TBD) Leave the new system only for FCS and telescope instrumentation Replace the 30 TON REF analog control system for a new digital control unit Leave the Console & Comp. Room cooling units in BCS circuit
