Moving the Detectors There are several ways to move the detectors, Both down the shaft, on the surface, and in the caverns. I will show the ones of them that looks the most promising (until some better way comes along)

Moving the Detectors   Kramo Climbing Jack System Climbing jacks have been used successfully for many years for the lifting and skidding of heavy structures on petrochemical, energy and civil projects. Climbing jacks come in 100 tonne and 400 tonne capacity units, which can be used individually or in combination to lift loads of any size. Each climbing jack comprises an upper wedge unit, a lower wedge unit and a pair of solid hydraulic rams between them. This wedge units grip a square bar and work in sequence with the jacks to move along the bar as shown in simplified form below.
