Angels – God’s Spirit Warriors Hebrews 1:14: “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”

Moses - Exodus 14 10. As Pharoah approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. 19. Then the angel of God, who had been travelling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, 20. coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other; so neither went near the other all night long.

Hezekiah - 2 Chronicles 32 20. King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to heaven about this. 21. And the Lord sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the commanders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace.

Peter – Acts 12 5. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. 6. The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. 7. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. ‘Quick, get up!’ he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.

Peter (cont.) 8. Then the angel said to him, ‘Put on your clothes and sandals.’ And Peter did so. ‘Wrap your cloak round you and follow me,’ the angel told him. 9. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. 10. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.

Three Biblical Principles God intervenes for those who fear Him God intervenes for those who call on Him in prayer God intervenes for those who are totally committed to Him

One Final Thing “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Will you inherit salvation?
