You don’t have to wait until your system is perfect ---Just start and be flexible. Modify as necessary.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) TIER II 2-5 referrals, 5-15% student body IT March 2016, 7% student body 2014-15 2015-16 2016-17 Data based on Behavior Referrals Target-entire student body 2-5 referrals.   Timeline-semester CICO SAIG-Pilot Target- 2-5 referrals. Tier II Interventions

General Troubleshooting: Limited Resources 2014-15 2015-16 Referral tracked for two weeks(reduced time frame) Number of Referrals 2-5 (6 referrals move to Tier III) Data – trained and accessible Referrals tracked for a Semester (difficult to maintain) Number of Referrals 2 to no limit Data – new system needed training

Troubleshooting CICO 2014-15 2015-2016 CICO – tried to match adult with student Teacher involvement/buy in. Initial investment= rewards. Responsibilities over many people CICO – determined First block Check In Last block Check Out. Administration mandated involvement. One person assigned to the task

Troubleshooting SAIG 2014-15 2015-2016 Develop curriculum Instructors for SAIG? Who? How? Parent Permission? Check district policies Curriculum in place Didn’t have instructors- until end of 2016 Needed Parent Permission, developed form, home visits, mailed documents

Troubleshooting Data 2014-15 2015-2016 Spreadsheet Spreadsheet too cumbersome so changed to Google Doc with separate intervention tabs.

Total Effectiveness of Tier II Semester 2, 2015-16 school year Counselor / Social Worker Referrals: Total Students ID: 34 Total Students receiving Intervention: 19 Total referrals Pre / Post intervention: 38 / 15 Total decrease in referrals of 60 % CICO Total Students ID: 18 Total Students receiving Interventions: 5 Total referrals Pre/Post intervention: 10 / 2 Total decrease in referrals of 80% Community Service Referrals Total Students ID : 5 Total Students receiving interventions: 2 Total referrals Pre/Post Intervention: 7 / 6 Total decrease in referrals of 14% SAIG Total Students ID: 3 Total Students receiving Intervention: 1 Total referrals Pre/Post intervention 2 / 0 Total decrease in referrals of 100% Grand Totals: Students ID: 60 Total Students receiving Tier II Interventions: 27 Total referrals Pre-intervention: 57 Total referrals Post-Intervention: 23 Total decrease in referrals of 60%
