Professor of Art - Growth Position - 2016 Professor of Art, Drawing Art 120 – Basic Drawing 1 courses fill quickly, and due to limited laboratory spaces most of these waitlist students cannot be served. Art 120 is always in the top 25 most productive courses at MJC. The Art department was the 6th most productive department in the college in 2014-15 , bringin6 in 485.4 FTES with a WSCH/FTEF of 543.2. Approximately the same number of FTES were produced in 2015-16. In the Spring of 2016 Retention Rates were 87.42% and the Success Rate was 74.21% Professor of Art - Growth Position - 2016

Professor of Art - Growth Position - 2016 Art has four programs; the Studio Arts A.D.T., Art History A.D.T., Art A.A., and Photography A.A.. These degrees are the declared major of 383 students. This makes art the 8th largest department in terms of enrolled majors. Art degrees have risen in the last two years to over 3% of all MJC completions! In addition to being required courses in Arts four degrees, are 120 serves those seeking employments at MJC, particularly as an elective in the University Preparation A.A. Degree in Liberal Studies (Teacher Education-CSUS) and as a requirement in the Computer Graphic Applications A.A. Degree & the Certificate of Achievement. During the 2015-16 academic year art taught 99 sections. 54 were taught by full time instructors and 45 were taught by adjunct instructors. Professor of Art - Growth Position - 2016
