The Birth of Espanta Suegras History of the Tarre’ Family Ramon is born in Barcelona, Spain in December 18th, 1878 Crisis in Spain due to independence of territories caused a great economic turmoil and unemployment. In July 26th 1899, at 20 years old, Ramon arrives at Mexico. Brother Juan died in Mexico, Ramon kept writing his mother Sebastiana for years (as Juan). Around 1949-1950 Guillermo and Mercedes founded La Colonial, an import and distribution store in Zamora La Colonial became a regional reference of imported foods, wines and liquors.
