Projects in Design FM 1626 South (FM 2770 to FM 967) Engineer finalizing 90% PS&E for December 19th Plan Review with TxDOT TxDOT anticipated to complete coordination with USFWS in December Title reports have been received on all identified parcels and owner information has been updated Utility Coordination is continuing Letting anticipated 2014 Public Hearing – May 2014 LOA – July 2014

Projects Letting Yarrington Bridge (at IH 35) Let on October 9, 2013 and low bidder OHL USA, Inc. at $12.2M (15.5% under engineer’s estimate) Coordinated with TxDOT regarding contract execution – anticipated in January 2014 Continued utility coordination regarding agreements, costs & schedules – Update Meeting being scheduled for mid-January Continued coordination regarding final parcel needed for construction 2 more Utility Agreements for CPY/Cobb Fendley – PEC & Centurylink 1 Utility Agreement for revision – City of Kyle – added a betterment 2 Utility Agreements for City of San Marcos to support the ILA Payment in the amount of $237,018 due from COSM shortly (approved by Court on 10/15/13)

IH 35 Phase 2A (RM 150 Realignment) Granted Substantial Completion: October 1, 2013 Final Engineer’s Estimate = $4,460,492.85 Original Contract Price = $3,483,074.33 Total Executed Change Orders = $48,253.51 Total Paid To-Date = $3,578,167.27 Anticipated Final Contract = $3,594,302.63 (3% Over Original Contract, 19% Under Estimate) General Clean-up, Additional Seeding, Additional Soil Retention Blankets, Ty I Thermoplastic Pavement Markings, Completed small sign installation, removed temporary signs, Bonus/Penalties associated with Placement & Production of the Asphalt ($14,643.62), total payment = $42K Due to rains, added riprap on the south side of the bridge, including toe wall. Final K will be more than 19% below the final engineers estimate.
