THE DAILY NEWS DON’T ASK www.dailynews.com THE WORLD’S FAVOURITE NEWSPAPER - Since 1903 DON’T ASK answered the phone. James told the FBI worker that a few years before, he had gotten away from the jail where he was held because of committing a serious crime. However, he also added he was a new men then and that he just wanted to spend a weekend in his hometown (in Texas) without having to worry about police officers trying to arrest him. “Despite thinking that the man was lying to me, I asked him his name. When he said it I couldn’t believe it”, told the FBI woman to the reporters. Sanders, who had always been really skilful, escaped from jail through a tunnel he dug by himself just with a spoon and a fork. Although he was looked for for about five years, he never got found. Until now. Last night, at around 9 o’clock, the FBI in Texas received a call from an old man who asked if he was still on the “wanted criminals” list. “In that moment I was so shocked I didn’t know what to respond”, said the woman that . 1
