Examples.. I am from Saudi Arabia. Salma is a teacher. Ahmed is a doctor. The book is on the table. We are at the library. You are a student The students are at school. I am a doctor. My father is an engineer. Maha and Noura are sisters. They are sisters I am happy.

The Indefinite Article a/an We use the indefinite article a/an before a singular noun which is countable. The form a is used before a word beginning with a consonant sound: a man , a hat , a table , a board The form an is used before a word beginning with a vowel sound (a, e, i, o,u) an apple , an egg , an island , an onion , an uncle
