Let’s enjoy a piece of music. Do you know who composed it?

His hearing began to deteriorate in the late 1790s, yet he continued to compose, conduct, and perform, even after becoming completely deaf. Beethoven

Do you know this man? Nick Vujicic (1982- ) an Australian evangelist and motivational speaker born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterised by the absence of all four limbs Nick Vujicic (1982- )

There are only two options for me, either die quickly, or strive for a wonderful life. There is no such rule that you must play the piano with your hands. --- Liu Wei

Do you know anyone with a mental or physical disability Do you know anyone with a mental or physical disability? Does this disability make it difficult for them to do something? What have they done to try to overcome these difficulties?

They are all disabled people, but they make some contribution to human beings.

May 19, 2013 was the 23rd Chinese National Disabled Day May 19, 2013 was the 23rd Chinese National Disabled Day. The theme of this National Disabled Day was “helping the poor disabled” to awaken the public attention to the poverty problem of the disabled.

World Disabled Day is observed every year on 3rd December World Disabled Day is observed every year on 3rd December. Also known as “International Day of Persons with Disabilities”, the day aims to promote an awareness of disability issues and the fundamental rights of persons with disabilities. World Disabled Day holds immense significance for the disability sector. It is a day to look back on the past year. It is also a good chance to bring the needs, concerns and rights of persons with disability into the limelight.

A Speech Dear teachers and schoolmate, The third Sunday of May is National Disabled Day. Some disabled children can’t hear the world and can’t see the shining spring. They’re also the future of our motherland, they also look forward to the bright future, and they also have some special talents. My schoolmates, do you remember the impressed dance of the Spring Festival

Party? After we enjoy the wonderful dance, we can’t imagine that the dance was led by a deaf girl called Tai Lihua and shown by 20 deaf dancers. In this dance, it’s very hard to behave together. Every day the dancers always lay on the floor and listen to the rhythm of the music from the floor. They learned the music by sign language; they practiced the dance with the melody of the music and the body. They made a lot of efforts and they worked very hard. They have hopeful hearts and strong spirit. We should learn from them.

The disabled people are also the members of our society, so we should respect the people with disability. I hope all of us cherish our good condition, and learn the spirit of the disabled people. Strive to be self-respected, self-confident, self-improvement, self-supporting. We should listen carefully in every class, do well in every kind of homework, do well on duty.

Caring the disabled people is our responsibility Caring the disabled people is our responsibility. Let’s do it from now on, day by day, little by little. Not only on the National Disabled Day, but also every day in the future. That’s all for my speech. Thanks.

Enjoy a song Best of Me. I was made the wrong way Won't you do me the right way Where you gonna be tonight 'Cause I won't stay too long Maybe you're the light for me When you talk to me it strikes me Won't somebody help me 'Cause I don't feel too strong Was it something that I said Was it something that I did Or the combination of both that did me end

You know I'm hoping you'll sing along Although it's not your favorite song Don't want to be there when there's nothing left to say You know that some of us spin again And when you do you'll need a friend Don't want to be there when there's nothing left for me And I hate the thought of finally being erased Baby that's the best of me

Don't want to be there when there's nothing left for me Everything's behind you But the hopeless stands besides you Living in the moment Have I wasted all your time Was it something that I said Was it something that I did Or the combination of both that did me end You know I'm hoping you'll sing along Although it's not your favorite song Don't want to be there when there's nothing left to say You know that some of us spin again And when you do you'll need a friend Don't want to be there when there's nothing left for me

And I hate the thought of finally being erased Baby that's the best of me Baby that's the best of me You know I'm hoping you'll sing along Although it's not your favorite song Don't want to be there when there's nothing left to say You know that some of us spin again And when you do you'll need a friend Don't want to be there when there's nothing left for me And I hate the thought of finally being erased Baby that's the best of me
