IoTs vs Development Challenges Despite positive economic outlooks, ESA countries remain challenged in terms of global competitiveness The region significantly lags behind developed economy in STI capacity Without a quantum leap in STI capacity, development challenges cannot be addressed effectively ACEIoT will educate and train African researchers develop and deploy innovative IoT-enabled services, to address development challenges

Objectives Develop curricula to promote cutting-edge research in the field of IoT Training in IoT through Master’s and PhD programmes in Wireless Intelligent Sensor Networks and Embedded Computing Systems Increase IoT applied research output Excel as a focal point for enhancing regional and international research collaboration
