Why not ‘tri’ a new challenge? Assembly presentation for Primary school pupils

What is a triathlon? Do you like swimming? Do you like cycling? Do you like running? Then you will love a triathlon! And if you don’t like all three then you can take part as a team!

Three brothers prepare for the World’s largest children’s triathlon

Shall we try one of the Castle Triathlon Series events? Five iconic castles in Europe Children and adult races Festival fun! - Music, food and loads of themed activities: archery, climbing wall, jousting! Raised £150k for charity in 2013! 1,300 kids took part in the Hever Castle Triathlon last year making it the World’s largest junior triathlon! .

What are the distances? 8-10 years old 11-12 years old 13-15 years old 100m swim / 4km cycle / 1.3km run 11-12 years old 200m swim / 4km cycle / 2km run 13-15 years old 300m swim / 8km cycle / 4km run

What equipment do we need?
