The Judge will be Judged

Matthew 7:1-3 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”

Matthew 7:4-5 “How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Reasons we Judge Other People Because of our own Iniquity

Romans 2:1-3 “You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?”

Reasons we Judge Other People Because of our own Iniquity Because of our own Insecurity Because of our own Ignorance

Romans 14:4 “Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.”

Reasons we Judge Other People Because of our own Iniquity Because of our own Insecurity Because of our own Ignorance Because of our own Insensitivity

John 3:17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”

James 2:13 “Judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!”
