Click to edit Master title style OPEN-ENDED ANSWERS What was your most significant learning today? Managers: • The P.I.N. model really opened my eyes to a new tool that can be used as I encounter a conflict in the future. • Identity threat concept. • Clear appreciation of unpacking motivations and needs. • Understanding there is duality. • The definition of dualism. • The job of creating social justice is never done. • I love the new way of presenting “who” we are as a people in the many different contexts of one lives lived. • We compartmentalize and play different roles in different settings. • We are each Russian nesting dolls. • Made me realize dualistic I am – the world is – I need work. Click to edit Master title style OPEN-ENDED ANSWERS What was your most significant learning today? Individual Contributors: • Understanding other tools to learn about duality. • Storytelling. • Developing a language/terms for discovering this concept. • Understanding the lens on which both parties or situations hold. • P.I.N. conflict model. • I’d say all events, but mostly the P.I.N. model in the story cycle. It helps me to really break down what the issue is. • How dualism impacts me based on the spheres of influence. Click to edit Master title style CFDLS © 2016

Click to edit Master title style OPEN-ENDED ANSWERS How will you use one or more of the tools presented/practiced today? Managers: • Try and use this concept with the filter. • Share with team and work into our “diverse perceptions.” • Diagnostic complement to ER and other tools. • True to ID when over generalizing things to enable consideration of the space in and between. • Exercise for discussion starters. • I love the stories cycle as a method of looking at bigger social issues to understand where they are in the cycle. • Staff meeting discussions regarding needs behind conflict. • In daily interactions and conflict resolution. Click to edit Master title style OPEN-ENDED ANSWERS How will you use one or more of the tools presented/practiced today? Individual Contributors: • In both personal relations and professional teams. • Thinking before speaking and acting, listening before responding. • In my practice of teamwork with my staff. • Slow down the thinking process, “peel back the onion.” • Interactions with students helping them explore their duality. • By teaching it into instructor/facilitator.
