Membership Trends and Actions (Pacific Northwest Section) Section Goal: 1050 Members, 175 Students Significant Demographics: Student and Women Membership, Out-of-state members Women members are ~10.5% female to male ratio Student, and Edu Assoc members have increased. Membership Reports (Pacific Northwest Section) Have any of these numbers increased or decreased since the last report? Why? Professional membership increased to 836 and Educator associates are unchanged at 102. Student membership continues to fluctuate averaging 230 and now has dropped to224. Student member are up 118% and EAs are up 72% over 4 years. Prof are down 16%. Please specify any progress towards your section’s membership goals: Joint Professional and Student Section Meeting List any events since your last report. Were any key demographics addressed? Technical meeting. Please specify any membership recruitment initiatives currently planned or ongoing.
