Saving Obvibase Files Correctly If you do not follow these directions, your Obvibase file will save as an html file

Under Main Menu on the right Click on the Main Menu Tab on the right hand side of the screen Then click on Copy/Export Make sure all boxes are checked then click on the Export tab

Under the Export Tab Again make sure all boxes are checked and then click on Export to csv file

The exported file will downloaded on the bottom of your screen Click on Exported.csv to open the Excel Spreadsheet containing the data from your database

The Excel Spreadsheet You should now have an Excel Spreadsheet open with your data from the Obvibase Database

To Save your Data Click on file and then click Save As

After clicking Save As Click computer and Browse, then Google Drive Choose Google Drive in the box that pops up!

Saving your work Click on the Save as type (Under the file name) Google Drive Click on the Save as type (Under the file name)

After clicking Save as type Scroll to the top and choose Excel Workbook

Saving your work Change file name to “Mystery Obvibase + your last name” then click Save

File to upload If you followed these steps the file will be on your Google Drive as an Excel Spreadsheet named Mystery Database + your last name. Upload this file for the database file. If you do not follow these directions your file will be saved as an html file that just shows jibberish.
