Learning Management System as an Online Course Review

Learning Object Repositories for Curricular Analysis LOR: A shared folder in the cloud that one or more users can upload stand-alone electronic documents to share with other permitted people Metadata: In addition to the data that uploaded files contain other attributes (data) can also be attached to those files called metadata such as author’s name, duration, target audience, etc. Taxonomy: Taxonomies can be created in the LOR to categorize the uploaded files. Current Use 1: A pre-identified teaching/learning activities and assessment strategies, uploaded learning objects from courses have been analyzed to determine the percentage of higher vs. lower teaching/learning activities and assessment strategies based on the estimated time for student to complete the activity. Current Use 2: Content provided to the students has been analyzed to determine if students are properly prepared for the licensing exams using the content blueprint provided by the licensing association.
