11CP Notebook Assignments REMINDERS: Make sure to include the number and the title in the table of contents and at the start of your assignment. Don’t forget to raise your hands when your group has finished for a stamp.

Notebook 1: Essays! AHHHH!! Directions: Answer the questions below in complete sentences. How many essays did you write last year? Do you think you improved in your writing last year? Why or why not? Why is it important to know how to write an argument essay?

Notebook 2: Bu-bye Summer Notebook 2: Bu-bye Summer! Directions: In 5 sentences comment on what this painting by John Philip Falter makes you feel and/or think.

Notebook 3: Friday – YES!! Directions: Write an acrostic poem for the word “Friday.” Don’t copy me. F – Final school bell rings! R – Ready to run the vacuum, do the laundry… I – Indeed, there is much to be accomplished. D – Determined to make each moment count. A – A nap could be in order? Y – YES! That will be time well spent.

School should only be 3 days per week in the US. Counterargument: One might argue that The US will have less educated society because students are not getting the amount of time they need to learn. 2. There should be a more restrictive school dress code. 3. School dances are frivolous and promote poor behavior. 4. School sports are necessary for a well-rounded student. 5. One should adopt a pet rather than buying a purebred.
