Multiplying and dividing decimals

objective Students will be able to multiply a decimal with a whole number.

Multiplying decimals with whole numbers Stack the numbers. Multiply each number in the bottom row with each number in the top row. Add the two sets of numbers. Place the decimal in front of however many numbers are after the decimals that are being multiplied.
