First bi-annual Sexual Health Commissioners Meeting on 6 July 2016 Quarterly Implementation Board meetings in place to oversee progress.

Key achievements and successes this period CCG LLR Collaborative Commissioning Board agreed s75 mechanism to commission IUS for non contraceptive purposes via local authority sexual health services & GP IUD/S contracts. C-card & sexual health signposting included in Rutland community prevention & wellness service tender. LCR RSE evaluation report complete. Sexual Health Service and new SARC provider contacts in place. Sexual Health service demand & capacity work completed. Changes agreed to reduced opening times at Loughborough hub by 12 hours per week to increase capacity at St Peters hub, sustain activity at LCR spokes and start Leicestershire outreach sessions for sex workers. (Implementation from February 2017) Pilot online STI self-sampling service agreed. Contract in place for 2000 screens across LLR to commence January 2017. LCR GP LARC audits reviewed and responses sent to practitioners. (98 IUD/S and 98 SDI audits from 60 practices) 26 Local IUT & SDI Letter of competence (LoC) recertification reviewed, with approval of 5 IUT and 14 SDI. 7 applications awaiting further information to complete assessment.

Pregnancy testing sites to be reviewed by end December 2016 to determine next steps.

3 Month Forward Look Key activity, Milestones and Challenges over the next period (January –March 2017) milestones include: Final approval of commissioning meeting ToR New Public Health postholder Programme Delivery Manager induction to include background in relation to SH Communication group workshop proposals Establish SH training task & finish group, hold initial meeting and collate existing information relating to training audits and training availability. Support bidding process for continued offer for teenage parents. (Baby Box scheme) Review of RSE evaluation and develop plan Progress development of s75 agreement commissioning arrangements for menorrhagia Confirm agreement psychosexual services across LLR and develop referral pathways. Termination of Pregnancy report to be considered by SH strategy group 23/1/16. Review HIV self sampling and community testing protocols and pathways Consider options/commissioning responsibility for chlamydia screening in maternity/antenatal & prisons NHSE & LCR sexual Health service to discuss service specification for cervical cytology delivery in SHS.
