Intern/Mentor Project 2012 Elizabeth Ung, Rouse 19 Mentors: Richard Stine, Chris Roederer Mentor Liaison: Deidre McCabe

Renegade Communications Located in Hunt Valley, MD Includes two Sound Stages for commercial advertisements and training videos for various companies A small recording booth for the voiceovers

Production Coordinator Manages Clients and their commissions or requests Pre and Post- Production duties, such as filing temporary/propose d budgets, compiling footage, and transferring voice-over recordings

Relationship with the Voice-Over Artist Responsible for keeping the Client happy with the finished product within range of resources and budget Either can record from home or in the studio-booth with the Client present

Being Flexible Schedules vary from time to time, from doing various video shootings per day or none at all Client-dependent business and industry; must be very communicative! Patience and flexibility with the Client’s wants and reactions to finished product Very great insight; thought it was just for acting!

Business Side “Shadowing” was difficult to schedule because of the unpredictable nature of the industry Constantly communicating with new and potential clients Also important to continue job-hunting for even better paying positions Unexpected of how much goes into the business side of this industry

The Potential Can range from very busy environment to a slow day (which also affects payment, personal life, emotional satisfaction, etc.) Organization skills, flexible schedule, and good contacts Experience from college reflects a lot of what is expected in this career choice Production Coordinator: into consideration
