Bullying BY Carlos Iglesias

What is Bullying? This is on bullying.gov! Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious lasting problems.

An Example of bullying A Central Florida sheriff said two girls, 12 and 14, were arrested after the older one posted an offensive online comment Saturday in connection with the case. This on, http://topics.nytimes.com. This 12 year old, Rebecca Ann Sedwick has killed herself because of bullies. Don’t let anyone get bullied or if you want this to happen. If someone gets bullied, step up and speak up to an adult. This girl should not have been bullied.

“Rip Amanda M. Todd” This is on wikipedia.com. Amanda M. Todd was bullied so badly that she committed suicide. She was, bullied, cyber bullied, and physical bullied. She was in 10th grade at Cabe Secondary in Coquitlam(in Canada). This happened in October 12, 2012.

Types of bullying The types of bullying are, “Cyber bullying”, “Intimidation”, “Social alienation”, “Indirect bullying”, “Verbal bullying”, “Physical bullying”, and “Emotional bullying”

What Is Cyber bullying? Picture of cyber bullying It means….. (On library.thinkquest.org) Cyber bullying is, is done by sending messages, pictures, information using electronic media, computers, or cell phones. That picture says, “ You are a such loser! EVERYBODY hates you including me! I will make sure of that!

What is Intimidation? What it means…. Here is a picture…. (On librarythinkquest.org) Is when a bully threatens someone else and frightens that person enough to make him or her do what the bully wants. The kid is tightening his fist to the victim.

What is Social alienation? It means…. Here is a picture…. is when a bully excludes someone from a group on purpose. It also includes a bully spreading rumors, and also making fun of someone by pointing out their differences. The two kids are spreading rumors about the victim.

What is Indirect bullying It means…. Here is a picture…. includes spreading rumors or stories about someone, telling others about something that was told to you in private, and excluding others from groups. An example would be if you started a rumor that a boy in your class likes playing with dolls, and if the reason that you made up the story was because you thought it was funny.
