Why are Band Aid Great Britons? They are a charity ‘Supergroup’ who were formed with the sole purpose of raising money to help people in Africa. Their song ‘Do They Know Its Christmas’ sold over two million copies around the world and raised over $24 million for people in Ethiopia. After their success, there has been 3 more recent versions of the song released to raise money for other causes. The most recent of these was Band Aid 30 in 2014 which raised money for the Ebola crisis in Africa.
