National Day Romania

What does Romanian flag mean? The blue of the sky mean LIBERTY. The yellow of the fields mean JUSTICE. And the red of the blood mean BROTHERHOOD.

What does Romanian hymn mean? Since 1848 our hymn was a song who encourage romanian people to fight with the conquerors for liberty. On 22 December 1989,during the communist revolution people listen this song on the street. This song encouraged the people to figth with the communist for a better life. When we listen this song we forget about everything . So Awake,Romanians is a good choice to represent romian people

What does National Day mean for: Before 1 December 1918 , Romania was divided in 3 regions:one region was Romania ,one region belonged to The Russian Empire and one region to The Austro-Hungarian Empire. On 1 December 1918 Romania was reunified with the rest of the occupied territory.

Romania had a big chance becauss The Continue with Nation This day is called “The Great Reunion of Romania” because all the parts of the country came together in a big kingdom,The Kingdom of Romania. Romania had a big chance becauss The Austro-Hungarian Empire and The Russian Empire were destroyed and Romania returned to the first territory . In our country, Romania we can be happy to see a delightful parade in almost all the cities and towns.

For me For me The National Day is a free day from school when I can be happy to enjoy with my friends,but sometimes we speak about the history of this day because we have to know historical facts about our country . During this day almost all the families are together because it is a day off.

For my family In my family we invite the rest of the family and friends to our home , and we eat traditional food together or play some games for fun. In my town a parade is organized and my family loves walking, and watching the army parade and drink something hot in the streets.

For Community For the rest of the people The National Day is a opportunity to take a look to the military parades or walk in a park for personal relaxing. Almost all of the people don’t go to work and they can relax doing all the things which they can’t do a normal day.
