Production by Trinos He test (80%) NEG coating (batch 3 no NEG) Acceptance test (1 per batch) Batch 1 Batch 2

Acceptance test (1 per batch) Production by Trinos He test (80-100%) NEG coating Acceptance test (1 per batch) Batch 3 (No NEG)

Bake-out equipment LNR dipole Kickers Jackets are installed on all the chambers Kickers Jackets are installed BPM and other chambers in the magnets Wrapping according to magnet availability Standard elements Ion pumps, gauges, chambers: wrapping on-site after vacuum tests

NEG coating LNR dipole vacuum chambers Scraper bellows: #1: LNR dipole chamber # 1 (NEG completed) was installed with supports on two dipole magnets to check availability space between coils and bake out jackets. #2: NEG coating done, masked bellows and sleeves, no peel off, transport to B113 for acceptance tests #3: NEG coating in W23 #4 to 6 : NEG coating will follow W24, 25 and 26 Scraper bellows: 1 bellows with NEG successfully tested (no peel-off) 1 bellows NEG W23 LNR chambers TRINOS RUN #2 successfully coated, no peel-off at bellows or welding RUN #3 (Week 23) Y-chambers x3: NEG coating W24 to W26

NEG coating PU SCHOTTKY (Responsible Jorge Sanchez Quesada) 4 chambers received (weight ~80 kilos each, very fragile) Optical inspection of the 4 chambers have dust, projections, metallic shavings, oxidation, scratches and white spots. Proposed actions-> to be discussed BPM for Tune (Responsible: Joel Albertone) After the acceptance test there is peel-off (dust-like). The electrodes were coated in another lab than the vacuum tanks. Unable to confirm by eye if the peel-off is coming from the chamber only or/and the electrodes Proposed actions-> to be discussed Try to detect Ti,Zr,V on the vacuum chamber with a portable XRF If there is NEG on the chamber, manufacture new electrodes If there is no NEG on the chamber, in addition the electrodes, strip the NEG from the chamber (if possible) and/or manufacture new chambers.

Acceptance tests See also SP site: https://espace.cern.ch/TE-VSCgroup/Acceptance-Tests/_layouts/15/start.aspx#/Lists/Acceptance%20tests%202/AllItems.aspx Underway BTV tank with NEG Kicker tank with extra pumps: 1 Capacitorr D2000, 1 Capacitorr D3500, In the pipeline Y- Chambers (2+1): available for testing end of June, W27 LNR dipole chambers: 1 chamber per week W24 to 29. SEM chambers: assembly to be tested with vacuum chambers W24-25 one vacuum chamber alone after cleaning to be tested W23-24 Trinos vacuum chambers: set#2 with NEG W23 (1 chamber only will be tested) set#3 with NEG W24 (1 chamber only will be tested)

Installation Focused on the sector LNI-LNE and LNR 40, 45% of the installation of those sectors is done. We wait for survey team to align the dipoles to continue the installation in LNR 40. We wait for EN-MME to re-machine the support plate of the LNI.ZQNA.0050 to connect last part of LNI. We wait for one more SEM tank to complete sector valve installation in LNE00.
