Rome’s Best Pleasures By Hannah and Ben

Major Attractions Rome is a beautiful city full of adventure and heaps of history. You would never get bored with all of our fun attractions and monuments. As the Romans were originally here, there are many places to experience the life of a Roman. There is a huge amount of fun and happiness. You would be a fool to miss this opportunity of a life time.

The Trevi Fountain This is The Trevi Fountain . People believe if you throw a coin with your right hand over your left shoulder you would always return to Rome.

The Vatican City Did you know there is actually another country right in the centre of Rome. It is the smallest place in the world but it is the most religious country . It is just the size of a 110 acre field . Also it has a big church called the St Peters Basilica which is the biggest church ever and the Pope lives in there.

The Colosseum The Colosseum is where the Romans used to do gladiator fights. They don’t do gladiator fights anymore but they show you what it was like. They do not actually kill people. You will probably find a queue here, but don’t let that put you off. This is one of the finest Ancient monuments anywhere in the world. Roll back the years and take in the sights and sounds of a modern day Wembley Stadium. You will be amazed!

Food They have pasta and fish and they also have meat and fresh vegetables. They also have unbelievable pizza and they now have a McDonalds there in Rome too. In Rome, the family meal is a big event, with families taking up to 3 or 4 hours to eat their meals. These meals usually consist of an antipasti, a first course, a second course and a dessert.
