This tutorial will explain how to create a class announcement. Click the 'Classes' tab

Click the 'info' icon for instructions

Click the drop-down button to view all of your classes

Select the class you want to make the announcement to

Click the 'Create Ann' button

Click the text field to create an announcement title. Keep in mind that the announcement title will be the first thing seen by your students when they enter your class. They will have to expand the announcement to view its entirety.

Click the announcement text area to enter the announcment

Just as with the test questions and the tasks, you have many options to format your text with.

Click the 'image' icon to add a picture to the announcment You can also add embed a video, images, or use iframe to embed another webpage. To learn more about what you can do with CKEditor, you can visit there webpage: http://docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_3.x/Users_Guide/Interface/Toolbar

Copy and paste an image link into the text field labeled URL.

Adjust the size if necessary and click the 'OK' button

Once you are done formatting your text, click the 'Submit' button to create the announcement

Click the 'Close' button to return to the Instructor's panel Your announcement has been created and your students will be able to see it immediately Click the 'Close' button to return to the Instructor's panel

Click the class name under the Announcements panel to view all your announcements for that class

Click the 'trash can' icon to delete the announcement Click here to edit the announcement
