Democracy A government by the people For example: In the united states we have a democracy and we have rights to vote.

Aristocracy A government controlled by few wealthy people For example: In many countries they have aristocracy and only the wealthy people can have the rights to control.

Philosopher A person who studies truth and knowledge For example: A lawyer studies the truth and has knowledge to fight the case that is approaching.

Immortal To live forever For example: Many people believed that they can be immortal.

Agora An outdoor marketplace in ancient Greece For example: Many Greeks spent most of their time in a outdoor market place known as agoras.

Myth A traditional story that may include gods and goddesses often tries to explain events in nature. For example: In greece the greeks believed in the gods like Zeus and his brothers and sisters and children.

Plague An epidemic of an often fatal disease For example: In ancient Greece this disease was common and killed thousands of people including Pericles the important soldier in Greece.
