Yr9 GCSE: AQA PHOTOGRAPHY The Harefield Academy Flo Awolaja: Head of Photography This year first cohort of YR9 GCSE photography students have really worked hard to produce varied and interesting work. They have had to apply, learn and develop a whole range of thinking and creative skills, in order to produce their coursework. As the year has progressed they have grown in confidence, and this body of work they have produced is just a snippet of what they have accomplished. Yr9 GCSE: AQA PHOTOGRAPHY

Jason Mowinski In year 9 Photography we have learnt a lot of new skills and techniques on how to take photos and how to make that photo feel special and to make the viewer think wow. We have gone over the basics of the camera e.g. Understanding Composition, Aperture priority and shutter speed all to make our photos a little bit more unique than other ordinary photos taken on your phone.

The Harefield Academy, Year 9, Photography Megan Metcalf

Thomas Jeffery These are my year 9 photos. Over this year of my photography course I have learned how to properly use a camera. These pictures feel attached to me. For example the mud photo it shows that I have a pattern and so do you. My favourite photograph is the picture of the blades of grass. This is because I enjoy the way the water sits on the blades of grass also the different shades of greens in this photograph.

Tyanne Morris The Harefield Academy, Year 9, Photography

Robert Marks These are my favourite photos because they show a lot of my work over the year. These photos are from a number of different projects, such as Aperture Priority, Depth of Field and the Churchyard. I enjoy photography because it allows me to create work that I feel represents many different aspects of different situations.

Raisa Jahan In year 9, I have done a lot of projects in photography, these are some of my best photographs that I have taken. I have explored different styles of photography this year, and we have worked on many different topics such as understanding Aperture, looking at the alphabet, shutter speed, and emotions. I have learned different techniques in photography, which helped me to capture some of the best photographs of this year.

Madeleine Barr The Harefield Academy, Year 9, Photography Since the start of the year I have learnt a lot about photography. I found my self taking instant interest to many photographers and their work. My favourite topic was emotion as I enjoyed analysing photographs.. Madeleine Barr

Alfie Sills This year was a good year in photography we have had different types of projects from the alphabet to learning how to set the camera up ourselves. These photos are my favourite from the year a few where we had to focus on the main subject i.e. the ball and the shell. I have learned how to use a camera properly and how to set it up by using the F stop, ISO and Shutter Speed.

PHOTOGRAPHY e-portfolio Cheyne Hogan The images displayed here are some of the various topics that we have covered in our GCSE course this year. Some of our work looked at using slow shutter speed, depth of field background, different viewpoints, framing and Composition, Each of these photographs have a meaning or story to them.
