MY Original HYPOTHESIS Remember, a HYPOTHESIS is a supposed explanation based on evidence as starting point for an investigation Based on your prior knowledge and whatever you may know or have heard about the Civil War, delete this text and come up with a HYPOTHESIS here for WHO or WHAT may be responsible for causing the Civil War?. Ex: “Based on what I know, the Civil War happened because…”

620,000 Americans dead… Who’s responsible? On this slide, paste in 3-4 ACTUAL pictures of atrocities and deaths from the American Civil War. Photography was just emerging during the Civil War The idea is to make this look like a real case file of a crime scene with photographic evidence Feel free to use multiple slides for the photos, the more “evidence” the better 

Diary must be written in Police Language & in the 1st Person Must include Key Words. Ex Starter Sentence: “Today’s investigation proved very interesting. I think I’ve found my 1st suspect and its ____________. I’m very suspicious of this person because….
