TOPICS -Schedule -Dress/Preparation -Fundraising -Prizes -Awards for Participation

Schedule 8:10 - Go to 1st period 8:40 - Dismissal to prepare for race 9:00 - Jefferson Jog-a-Thon begins 10:00 - Everyone back to field 10:00-10:10 - Bibs collected 10:15-10:30 - Period 1 10:35-10:55 - Period 5/6 11:00-11:15 – Period 7 11:15 - Lunch

Dress/Participation Every student is expected to participate in the event. Come to school with necessary clothes and shoes to participate. (The locker rooms will not be open) You will have 20 minutes to stretch, warm-up, and hydrate.

Fundraising Each student will receive a fundraising envelope to collect money. You must turn in the envelope signed by your parents. Collect a flat amount of money for participation (not per lap) DO NOT go door to door or to businesses. Ask family members, friends, or JMS staff for donations. Prizes will be given out according to how much money each student raises.

Prizes for Fundraising We have MANY Prizes this year!!! So raise as much $ as you can!!!

Prizes for Fundraising If you raise: You will get: $8 - $19 Participation pin and Free Dress Pass $20 – $29 Mile Pass, Front of the Line Pass + prize 1 $30 - $39 Food certificate + prize 1 and 2 $40 - $74 Pedometer + prize 1 - 3 $75 - $89 Raffle ticket, Gift card + prize 1 - 4 $90 - $99 Lunch + prize 1 - 5 $100 and up Trip to Shakey’s pizza + prize 1 - 6

Prizes for Fundraising Top Fundraisers 3rd place fundraiser will get: A movie pass, plus prizes 1-7 2nd place fundraiser will get: 2 movie passes, plus prizes 1-7 Top Fundraiser will get: $50 Gift Card, plus prizes 1-7

Where to turn in Money and Get prizes: Turn in envelopes before school at the ASB Window/Pam’s Office on February 16th thru 23rd ALL STUDENTS MUST TURN IN A SIGNED SPONSOR ENVELOPE

Where to get your prizes: We will give out prizes as soon as we can determine the top winners during PE on a minimum day.
