What is a personality? Why is it necessary to study personality in Organizational Behavior?

Personality is: The psychological qualities that influence an individual’s characteristic behavior patterns in a broadly distinctive and consistent manner, across different situations and through time.

Types of Values Terminal Values: Desirable end-states of existence; the goals that a person would like to achieve during his or her lifetime. Instrumental Values: Preferable modes of behavior or means of achieving one's terminal values
