Prepared by Scott B. Froerer ~ 3 November 2005 Revised 8 November 2008 & 10 April 2016

COVENANT RELATIONSHIP A covenant is a sacred agreement between God and a person or group of people. God sets specific conditions, and He promises to bless us as we obey those conditions. When we choose not to keep covenants, we cannot receive the blessings, and in some instances we suffer a penalty as a consequence of our disobedience. - LDS.Org

Nazareth was just a little place, And so was Galilee.” Father, where shall I serve today? And my love flowed warm and free. Then He pointed me out a tiny spot, And said, “Tend that for me.” I answered quickly, “Oh, no, not that. Why, no one would ever see, No matter how well my work was done. Not that little place for me!” And the word He spoke, it was not stern, He answered me tenderly, “Ah, little one, search that heart of thine; Art thou serving them or me? Nazareth was just a little place, And so was Galilee.” - author unknown

“Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in his holy place?” “He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.” — Psalms 24:3 - 4

“He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil” — Isaiah 33:15

“He shall dwell on high…bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty….” — Isaiah 33:16 - 17
