INTEGRATOR Introduction – H&S Modules (20 Minute Presentation) Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Play Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Help Demo

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules This Demonstration of the Health & Safety Modules assumes that the Viewer has already seen How Integrator Operates. That Presentation illustrated how the Browser and Detail Screens work together, forming the Databases within Integrator. Although the functions illustrated (Filters, Analysis, Saved Screens, etc.) are a key part of the Health & Safety Modules, this Demonstration will not cover those functions again. Integrator’s Main Menu Screen shows the Databases associated with the Health & Safety Modules… This Demonstration will show the Viewer how those various Databases work together to form the Health & Safety Modules… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The Health & Safety Modules contains many databases which not only link with each other, but also relate back to the Employee Database. The database for Accidents was shown in an earlier Overview, but to recap… Users may decide what Data Columns appear in the Browser… …and Save the View for recall when required. Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The first of the Accident Detail screens are designed to match the format of ‘RIDDOR’ reporting for the Health & Safety Executive. In this manner, Details are recorded to suit the HSE’s philosophy… As a result, any analysis and reporting (Board Reports, Insurance Investigations & Reviews, etc) will be in tune with HSE policies. Furthermore, when RIDDOR Reports are required, they may be produced from here without any further input. As with other Integrator databases, Notes, Documents, Photo’s etc may be associated to each Accident Record… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules Returning to the screen for Analysis… An Estimate of the Accident’s cost may be entered to enable various forms of analysis later on… Alternatively, Integrator has a Loss Calculator which matches the Health & Safety Executive’s method for calculating the true cost of an Accident or Incident. These screens may be examined in detail in the third part of this Demonstration’s Main Menu… but in essence they build up the cost as follows… If required, Notes and Documents may be associated with the Costing. Not only do these Estimated or Calculated costs relate back to their own Browser… …they also appear in each of the Browsers for Accidents and Incidents… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules Integrator’s Analysis function enables the Costs of Accidents (estimated or calculated) to be reviewed in many formats. For example, the column ‘Injury to’ (part of body injured) may be analysed… This shows the Count, Total Cost, etc for the various types of injuries. Double clicking the ‘Sum’ column sorts it by Value, showing where the highest costs are being incurred and their magnitude… Likewise, the Analysis may be performed on Incident Type… …or by Employee, Injury Classification etc… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules Analysing the Costs of Accidents in this manner can be quite staggering when the numbers are viewed in context… It can undoubtedly assist in emphasising the issues when training Employees… …or when deciding Budgets for Health & Safety related matters etc. Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules Returning to the Main Menu and the Health & Safety Module… Some of the Databases provided actually relate to Equipment which require Records to be maintained… Portable Appliance Testing is one example, where Integrator’s database works in conjunction with its Browser… …and its associated Detail screens… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The opening screen (Equipment) allows the User to input Details relating to the item… Status indicates if the Equipment is In use, Out for Repair, etc. When the item is In Service, the Next Inspection Date is indicated at the bottom of the screen… When the Item is Out for Repair, the Date Due Back may be input and indicated at the bottom of the screen… Because these Dates are related back to the Browser, the User may Filter for Next Test Dates, Items Out for Repair, Dates Due Back from Repair, etc Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules When providing input for Data fields, such as Descriptions, a green background indicates that the field is a ‘Controlled List’… This means that any previous Data which has been entered into that field is available for further selection… The objective is to limit the Data to a controlled input, so that the Data will be consistent when shown on the Browser. This means that when the Browser’s Filters and Analysis functions are used, they will provide meaningful information to the User. Additions to the list are merely typed into the field – Integrator will then prompt the User to confirm that they wish to add the new data to the list. (Items may also be deleted if required.) Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The next Input screen relates to the Equipment Inspections… Each new Record (Inspection) may be added through Integrator’s normal means (‘Add New Record’)… …whereby Details may be input accordingly. The following Tab – Assignment… …allows the User to assign the Equipment to an Employee or an Operational Unit. NOTE: Any such assignments will not only link back to the Browser screen – useful to see who has what… …but also to the Employee Database and be visible through the Employee’s Detail Screens. Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The remaining Input screens allow the User to associate Address Details, Notes, Photo’s, etc to the Equipment Record (if required)… Similar Registers are available for Pressure Vessels, Lifting Tackle, etc, enabling the User to keep all Records under one centralised, shared system. The benefits offered are the ability to: View the status of the equipment. Track where or who the Equipment is assigned to. Maintain a History of Inspections. Use the Browser’s Filters and Analysis to monitor the Plant as a whole. Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is another of Integrator’s Modules which enhances the management of Health & Safety. Selecting the option launches the Browser, with Data Input and Review carried out through its Detail Screens… The first screen holds the main Details for the Item, with Controlled Lists used for the descriptions in order to make the Browser’s Filter and Analyse functions meaningful… Data for the last field (Assigned To) is drawn from the next screen… This Assigned To function creates the link to the Person, Department or Location where PPE Issues are made from... The next screen, Issues, creates the links to Person (or Department) each time an Item of the PPE is issued… By creating these Links, Integrator is able to show where the PPE is assigned from and whom it has been issued to. Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The remaining screens offer the usual facilities for recording Addresses, Contact Details, Photo’s etc… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules MSDS (Manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheets) is another of Integrator’s Modules which enhance the management of Health & Safety. As usual, Integrator’s database works in conjunction with the Browser… …with Data being Input to and Drawn from the Detail screens. The first screen holds the General information, with Controlled lists (green background) for data that may be Filtered and Analysed… 9 categories are provided for Classification as shown… The Browser uses this data for Hazard Identification, Filtering, Analysis, etc… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The next Detail screen allows the User to associate the Chemical with any suitable Training Courses… The remaining Tabs allow the User to associate the usual data for Addresses, Contact Details, Reminders etc… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules Risk Assessment is another of Integrator’s Modules, provided to enhance the management of Health & Safety. The Detail screens are designed to match the Health & Safety Executive’s recommended process for Risk Assessment. The first screen presents guidance to the Risk Assessment procedure… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The next screen allows the User to input general information, such as Site Location, Dates the Assessment is valid for, Comments, etc… It also displays summary information from subsequent screens, such as resultant Risk Severity Codes… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The next screen allows the User to associate Employees, or Positions, to the Risk Assessment… The association may be as a Member of the Team carrying out the Assessment… …or a Person (or Position) that needs to be on the Circulation List… …or a Person (or Position) that is involved in the Work Activity… When such associations are made through the Pick Object function, the link will be made back to the Employee Database or Position – e.g. Alan Wilkinson’s Details would show…. Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules In exactly the same manner, the next screen allows the User to associate Training Courses, PPE and Resources to the Risk Assessment… If these items already exist in Integrator’s databases, the associations may be made using the Pick Objects function… Alternatively, if the item doesn’t exist in Integrator’s database, the name may simply be typed in… (The same applies with the previous screen, if the Person is not available through the Pick Objects function, their name or email address may be typed in.) Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The next screen relates to the list of Activities being Assessed… Each Activity is represented by a Row… …with each Row allowing the User to input the results of the Assessment process. The final column is used for the Resultant Risk Factor (and confirmation of Completed Action) after the avoidance procedure has been undertaken… Rows may be Inserted, Deleted or Moved up or down the sequence using the facilities at the end of each Row. Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Overview of the Health & Safety Modules The Risk Assessment may be printed, with options available to determine which of the screens are to be included… The remaining screens give the usual facilities for associating Categories, Notes, Reminders, etc… Keyboard ‘Down Arrow’ = Go forward Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules

Summarising the Health & Safety Modules: The Demonstration has shown how Integrator provides Related Databases for: Accidents, Incidents and Costs Equipment Testing (PAT) Personal Protective Equipment (including issues) Manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheets Risk Assessments Management is made easy with Integrator’s links between the Modules. Furthermore, the Browser facilities offer unparalleled Management Overviews and Functionality. Overview of the Health & Safety Modules Keyboard ‘Up Arrow’ = Go back Keyboard ‘ESC’ = Exit this Demo.
