Project presentation My research question was : “What is the role of Facebook in spreading peace and conflict in Mogadishu city?” My research methodology was “Interviewing with 5 key informants who were experienced in the field of social media and peace building and conflict issues. in Mogadishu My findings are: 1- most Somalis use Facebook and are not aware of other social media. 2- Face book can spiral conflict and war because there is no authority that controls the posts on Face book and filters the contents posted by users.
