How to clear your credential through the Tri-County Induction Program (TCIP)
1) Complete our Induction Program
2) Complete Credential Request Form and submit to TCIP with a $50 check made payable to the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools (SCSOS) at the May 24th Seminar or get it to our office at 950 Tharp Rd, Building 300, Yuba City Give them a current email No AOL addresses will be accepted by CTC
3) Sutter County credential analyst, Kathy Tamez, submits your name to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) in the summer, 2017
4) CTC sends you an email and gives you 90 days to pay them
5) You pay CTC – by the deadline given to you by CTC
6) CTC sends you a confirmation email - make sure you check your junk mail folder
What if I don’t pay by the CTC deadline? Your name will be dropped by the CTC You will need to reapply here at SCSOS and pay a $25 re-recommendation fee
In summary… You submit Credential Request Form and $50 at the May 24th ceremony or get it to our office SCSOS informs CTC CTC sends you an email You respond to email and pay $$ CTC by their deadline CTC sends you a Professional Clear credential by email
