California FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE and HOUSING STABILIZATION and This bill would specify that a recipient of CalWORKs benefits is eligible to receive specified housing supports, including FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE and HOUSING STABILIZATION and RELOCATION, if the county determines that the recipient’s family is experiencing homelessness or housing instability that would be a barrier to self-sufficiency or child well-being. -California Senate Bill (SB) 855 (Chapter 29, Statutes of 2014), which created the CalWORKs Housing Support Program
