Purpose To create customized sets, kits and outfits.

Background There are four processes in the use of SKOs – SKO Catalog, Set Kit Outfit, Materiel Movement Plan, and Materiel Movement Pick. Kits must be serially-managed if any of the items in the kit are shelf life managed. Select the Complete As Is checkbox to mark a kit as partial. Once a bulk kit is assembled, a DW Form 01 (kit packing list) may be generated.

Background (cont) You should take note of the Bulk Kit Ids and the Bulk Kit Location for partial kits in case you need to update the kit. The Master Stock Number can be changed to another Stock Number. Filters can be used to find Stock Numbers to update. The ability to enter a History Remark is available but not required.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Flow 1 SKO Catalog Set Kit Outfit - Add Set Kit Outfit - Assemble Materiel Movement Plan Material Movement Pick Defines the Master Stock Number for the SKO and defines the Item Stock Numbers for the parts which make up the assembly. Identifies the items to create the kit by selecting the specific inventory. (Unmanaged) Assembles the SKOs using the selected inventory. The option to send the SKOs to Quality Control is available. (Managed) Sets the Cost Center/Personnel and identifies items to pick. Records items which were physically moved based on the Materiel Movement Plan. 2 3 4 5

Situation You are the Region Site Coordinator. The Warehouse Officer has directed you to create a manage un-serialize outfit consisted of a 2-Part Sleeping Bag used in support of an upcoming local exercise in your area.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 1 Navigate to Catalog Mgmt tab. Click on the SKO Catalog option. Note: If you plan to create custom Sets. Kits and Outfits (SKOs0), you will need to begin their development using the SKO Catalog process. This is where the Master Stock Number for the kit is established and the component items identified.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 3 a b c (3) Click on the button to initiate a search on the stock item and select the stock number. (a) Component of kit. (b) Select whether the SKO will be managed and unmanaged. (c) The Verify Parts Rqd checkboxes indicate all the parts are verified upon the return of the item.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 4 3 To Add Components: (4) Click on the button to initiate a search on the stock item. (5) Click on the Stock Nbr field to initiate a search component stock item. Note: You must associate at least one Stock Number to the SKO Stock Number when adding a new SKO Catalog record.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 7 6 Accepting Components: (6) Click in the Required Qty field to identify the quantity requirements (Different quantities can be entered for a specific component Stock Numbers.) (a) Optional – can be used to determine sequencing. (7) Click on the button to accept the selected component stock item.

The Managed Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Build Process

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 1 Navigate to Material Mgmt tab. Click on the ‘Set Kit Outfit’ option. Note: This initiate the SKOs assembly process.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 5 3 4 (3) Click on the button to initiate a search on the Master Stock Number. (4) Click on the Required Qty field to allocated the required quantities. (5) Click on button to add the Master Stock Number.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 6 (6) Click on button to add the Master Stock Number.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 7 (7) Click on button to initiate a material movement plan and pick assembly.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 8 9 10 (8) Select the quantity. (9) Identify the Location. (10) Select the button.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 11 (11) Click on button to expand the form view. The Pick Status is ‘Pick Plan Created’. Take note of your Pick Nbr.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 1 Navigate to Material Mgmt tab. Click on the Material Management and select the ‘Plan’ option.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 2 3 4 (2) Click on the Pick Nbr field and input the Pick Number. (3) Select the button to initiate the search. (4) Select button.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 5 6 7 (5) Ensure that the Cost Center is entered. If not, then select the button to add the correct Cost Center. (6) Select the button. (7) Select the button.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process Navigate to the Material Mgmt tab. Click on the Material Management and select the ‘Pick’ option.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 2 2 (2) Select the button located next to your Pick Nbr if available on the workbench. If the Pick Nbr is not available, enter it in the Pick Nbr field in the Search Criteria Form and select the button

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 4 a 3 (3) Select the print to print out a ‘picking ticket’. (4) Select the button to initiate the assembly.

Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Process 5 6 (5) Select the quantity values or ‘Select All’ check box. (6) Select the ‘Take Selected’ button to complete the process.
