Why Sevilla ?

Itinerary Tuesday Wednesday Children to school with their luggage at 08:15am, luggage in Mrs Taylor’s car. Passports/EHIC Cards collected. Substantial packed lunch required NO Liquids 08:45am Leave school promptly by Minibus / car for Gatwick North Terminal – arrival 09:45am latest. 09:50am Groups allocated and passports handed to group leaders. 12:05pm EYZ 8175 to Sevilla. 15:55pm Arrive in Sevilla, board coach to Jardines de Murillo and walk to Sevilla Inn Hostel. 16:45pm Arrive at Hostel and settle in. 17:00pm Depart Hostel for Plaza de España – ice cream and activities. 19:00pm Return to Hostel. 20:00pm Paella (seafood) supper on the Roof Terrace at Sevilla Inn Hostel. 21:30pm Bed and lights out! Wednesday 07.15am Wake up call for refreshments at Hostel. 08.15am Walk to Isabel II Bridge Churrería for Churros con Chocolate breakfast at 08:30am. 09:30am Leave Churrería, arrive at La Plaza de Toros to enjoy tour of bullring/museum at 10.00am. 11:15am depart for lunch shopping trip & Spanish practice at the Triana market. 12.45am Walk along the Guadalquivir river to the Torre de Oro and enjoy picnic lunch. 14.00pm Walk to the Catedral de Sevilla for tour and trip up the Giralda Tower at 14:30. 15:30pm Refreshments / ice creams / shopping 16.30pm Return to Sevilla Inn Hostel to rest. 17.30pm Leave for evening visit to Museo del Baile Flamenco – Flamenco Class and Show. 20.00pm Evening meal at Hostería del Laurel OR Mesón Don Raimundo TBC 21:30pm Time for bed.

Itinerary Thursday 7:15am Early breakfast at Hostel. 08:30am Leave by coach for Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Escuestre, in Jerez. 10.00am Arrive and enjoy tour of Carriage Museum, Stables, Saddlery Workshop and Equestrian Art Museum. 12.00pm Spanish Equestrian Show and lunch; depart by coach for Cádiz at 13:45pm. 14.15pm Visit to Plaza Catedral in Cádiz for ice creams, then walk to La Caleta beach for games (no burying in sand further than the waist!) and Armada Re-enactment. 6.00pm Dinner at La Quilla beach side Restaurant. 8.00pm depart Cádiz, return to Hostel to start packing and go to Bed! Friday 8.00am Wake up for breakfast at Hostel and complete packing. 09:15am Walk to Jardines del Murillo entrance of the Alcázar Palace. 09:45am Tour of Alcázar Palace and Gardens. 11:15am Depart Alcázar by Carriage Ride, finishing at/near Parque Maria Luisa. 12:00pm Collect sandwiches and have Picnic lunch in the park. 13:00pm Return to Sevilla Inn Hostel to collect luggage. 13:45pm Leave Sevilla Inn Hostel to catch coach at Jardines del Murillo for airport. 14:15pm Arrive at Sevilla Airport. 14:30pm Check in for EZY 8176, departing at 16:30pm. 18:10pm Arrive home. Meet parents. ¡Adios Amigos!

Health & Safety Parents should supply the Y6 class teachers with any clearly labeled medication their child requires. Sevilla Inn Hostel operates a comprehensive safety policy. The Hostel is reserved exclusively for us, will be manned 24 hours a day and the main door locked at night. All children will carry their name, address of hostel and teachers’ and Hostel Manager’s mobile phone numbers on cards or wrist bands at all times. Rigorous risk assessment of each venue, travel and all planned activities has been undertaken. High children / adult ratio, small groups of 3 children max per adult. All Staff are First Aid trained. First aid kit carried at all times. High Viz jackets carried for appropriate times.

COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES Lightweight waterproof (forecast dependent) Personal medication Indoor footwear / slippers Pyjamas and underwear Sunscreen (packed in the suitcase) Chiddingstone School caps required (clean – no graffiti!) Teddy bear / soft toy / Torch Pocket money, we suggest a maximum of 30 Euros Small rucksack with zip Camera (optional) Drink bottle (empty for check in) Reading book Playing cards or similar
