2. Yes. Islam started as Judaism translated into Arabic, and the Quranic Allah is based on the Biblical God.

3. No. Even though Allah is Based on God, the Quranic Allah does not theologically match the Biblical God.

"Allah . . . neither begot anyone, nor was he begotten," 112:2-3 "And [Allah] taught ’Adam the names, all of them," 2:31 "Say: “Obey Allah and the Messenger.” Then, should they turn back, Allah does not love the disbelievers," 3:32 "And if [Allah] had so willed, We would have led everybody to his right path, but the word from Me had come to pass: “I will certainly fill [Hell] with jinn and human beings together," 32:13 "And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah," 8:39

Is Allah God? Yes: Allah is Arabic for God. No: Allah is a term that refers to the Quranic God. Do we and Muslims worship the same God, and are we in fellowship with each other? No.
