COMPOSITION OF DECLINES

BREAKDOWN OF PROVINCIAL DECLINES

ADJUDICATION PROCESS The Distributing Agencies are responsible for the adjudication of applications. Dti is in the process of appointing the full-time DA members to ensure we achieve the legislated timeframes. After adjudication a decline letter would be issued or the signing of the Grant Agreement. Payment would be done and to account through a Progress Report. The M & E would be visiting to ensure the funding was used for its intended purposes.

FUTURE APPLICATION PROCESS The NLC will be moving to an open call system which would run from financial-year to financial year. This system would not allow for non compliant applications but only compliant applications. Applicants would be granted the opportunity to go back and correct whatever is missing from the mandatory documents. Only one application per organisation would be accepted irrespective of the sector. Capacity building sessions would be arrange to educate and raise awareness on this new system.

12-MONTH COOLING OFF PERIOD No applicant to whom a grant was made by the NLC should be eligible to apply for another grant within a period of twelve (12) months from the date of receipt of that grant, irrespective of whether the project is different from one previously applied for. The twelve (12) month cooling off period will be counted from the last payment made to the applicant. This is applicable to all organisations who submitted an application under the 2015 Call and funded. Not organisations who submitted applications prior 14 April 2015.

I THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
